I am a multidisciplinary Artist using my personal experiences of Postnatal Depression, to produce work that challenges the perception of the bond between mother and child.

The work is cathartic in approach, fuelled with childlike innocence and undertones of anger and anxiety. My cross-media approach sees me create detailed sculptures and textile pieces and film the processes as they are destroyed, sometimes with collaboration with my children to do this.

Originally a Teacher and Photographer, the birth of my family has given me plenty of time for reflection and Artistic fodder for the future.
