Woman UP! Podcast Series 2, Episode 14 - Rachel Epp Buller

Dr. Rachel Epp Buller is a feminist art historian, printmaker, book artist, professor, and mother of three. Much of her artistic, written, and curatorial work addresses the maternal body and feminst care in contemporary art contexts.

Her current writing and artistic research explores slow practices, such as walking and stitching, with a particular focus on letter-writing as an act of relational care and a radical intervention into practices of academic scholarship.

She exhibits and speaks about her work internationally, including at Borough Road Gallery in London, Das Verborgene Museum in Berlin, Mission Grafica in San Francisco, Casa Maauad in Mexico City, and Astrid Noacks Atelier in Copenhagen.

Her books include Reconciling Art and Mothering and Inappropriate Bodies: Art, Design, and Maternity, co-edited with Charles Reeve. She is a board member of the National Women’s Caucus for Art (US) and a past Fulbright Scholar. She is currently Associate Professor of Visual Arts and Design at Bethel College (US).
